Albany was a 267' steel steamer.  It collided with the steamer Philadelphia.  The wreck is located approximately eight miles NE of Pte. Aux Barques light.

Anna Dobbins was a 93' Tug that sank after hitting a reef. The coordinates for the new barge and The Troy have been confirmed. Anna Dobbins coordinates have not been confirmed. We will let you know as soon as they are confirmed. If you dive this site please e-mail us to let us know what the wreck is like.

Chickamauga was a double-deck schooner that was 322' long.   It is now located about 1/2 mile E of the Harbor Beach harbor.

***New Wreck-site*** Dump Barge/Scow newly discovered wreck in the Thumb Preserve.  The wreck lies in about 75' of water.  This makes a good secondary dive after the newly discovered wreck of  The Troy. 

Dunderburg was a schooner that was lost after a collision  about four miles off of Harbor Beach. 

E.P. Dorr was a steamer that was 120' long and sank in about 185' of water NE of Pte. Aux Barques Lighthouse.

Glenorchy  was a 365' steel steamer.  It collided with the Leonard B. Miller. The wreck is located about ten miles east south east of Harbor Beach.

Governor Smith sunk after a collision off Pte. Aux Barques.  It was a steamer but is now quite scattered on the bottom about four miles NE of Grindstone City.

Iron Chief was a 212' wooden steamer.   Machinery is still present at the wreck site.  The wreck is located about three miles NE of Grindstone City.

Philadelphia was a steamer that was 236' long.  It collided with the Albany and now rests in about 130' of water upright and intact.  Its location is about 5.5 miles NE of Pte. Aux Barques Lighthouse.

****New Wreck-Site****The Troy was a steamship that was 190' long.  It sank in 1859.  This wreck was just discovered in late 1999.  The remains are scattered but very interesting.  They include four anchors, a steel prop, engine, boiler and wooden timbers.  The location is 6-8 miles strait out from Port Austin.
